NIKO ANNOUNCES ICSID TRIBUNALS’ THIRD DECISION ON PAYMENT CLAIM
The international tribunals constituted under the rules of the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) have issued the third decision on the payment claim initiated by Niko Resources Ltd.'s indirect subsidiary, Niko Resources (Bangladesh) Ltd. (NRBL), against Bangladesh Oil Gas & Mineral Corp. (Petrobangla), a Crown corporation of the government of Bangladesh, for payments owing to NRBL by Petrobangla for gas deliveries made under the Feni gas purchase and sale agreement.
The Third Decision on the Payment Claim provides as follows:
-Petrobangla shall pay to NRBL forthwith and free of any restrictions: -approximately US$25 million plus approximately 140 million Bangladeshi taka (“BDT”) as per invoices for gas delivered from November 2004 to April 2010; plus -interest to September 11, 2014 of approximately US$6 million and approximately 50 million BDT; plus -interest from September 12, 2014, at the six-month London Interbank Offered Rate + 2% for USD amounts and 5% for BDT amounts, compounded annually; -This payment must be made immediately and is not subject to any contrary orders from the Courts in Bangladesh (including the writ petition and stay order which was announced by the Company on May 16, 2016); and -In view of the difficulties which have occurred in the past with respect to the payment of the amount owed to NRBL, the Tribunals will retain jurisdiction over Petrobangla and NRBL until final settlement of this payment.
Based on a USD to BDT exchange rate of 1 USD = 78 BDT, the claim amount due to NRBL to date totals approximately $35.3 million (approximately $27.1 million for invoiced amounts, approximately $6.6 million for accrued interest to September 11, 2014 and approximately $1.6 million for interest from September 12, 2014 to date). There is no assurance that Petrobangla will comply with the Third Decision on the Payment Claim. Bref la News est tombé à 14:02 et à 14:03 il on fermé les transactions vu le bont de 42.66%. Bref avec ce contrat et les options supplémentaires la compagnie risque de bien ce porter. J’ai hâte de voir demain.

GREAT THUNDER RECEIVES GOLD ASSAYS FOR VALENTINE MOUNTAIN
Great Thunder Gold Corp. has released assay and geochemistry results from trenched outcrop sampling of gold-bearing quartz veins completed in May and June, 2016, from the Discovery West zone at the company’s Valentine Mountain property, Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
Four select rock samples yielded gold values of 162.8 grams per tonne, 2.3 g/t, 37.9 g/t and 13.6 g/t, respectively, from fire assay using 30-gram subsample sizes and gravimetric methods. The first two samples were standard sizes weighing 0.90 and 1.27 kilograms, respectively, but the latter two samples were much larger, weighing 5.69 kg and 5.51 kg, respectively. A composite sample taken from the coarse reject of the latter two samples was analyzed using 30 g subsample sizes and gravimetric methods for gold, and 0.5 g subsample and inductively coupled plasma methods for multielements. This composite sample yielded 22.2 g/t gold and slightly elevated values of 2.92 parts per million silver and 323.4 ppm arsenic. These are selected samples and are not necessarily representative of the mineralization hosted on the property.
The sampling was conducted by John Moraal, PEng, a director and major shareholder of the company. The assay and geochemistry work was conducted and reported by Met-Solve Analytical Services of Langley, B.C.
Gold-bearing quartz veins at Valentine Mountain are hosted by Jurassic to Cretaceous-age Leech River complex, consisting of amphibolite, gneiss and schist. The Discovery West zone is located 600 m west and along strike from the Discovery zone at Valentine Mountain. Three shallow diamond drill holes from 1989 and one from 2004 at the Discovery West zone intersected at least three quartz veins yielding gold values ranging from 0.008 to 24.457 g/t. Trenched outcrop sampling from a 0.5 m thick quartz vein from 2001 taken at the same location as the 2016 sampling yielded a gold value of 100.06 g/t.
In 2013, mineral resource estimates were completed for Great Thunder for the Valentine Mountain property, and include an inferred mineral resource estimate for the Discovery West C zone of 12,205 tonnes averaging 35.4 g/t gold. The complete technical report, entitled technical report on the Valentine Mountain property, southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, and dated March 27, 2013, is available at SEDAR.
The technical contents of this release were reviewed and approved by Jacques Houle, PEng, an independent qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Houle is familiar with the Valentine Mountain property, including the Discovery West zone, and has visited the trenched sample site, but cannot verify the chain of custody of samples taken in May and June, 2016.
