Gatekeeper Receives Initial Order With Logan Bus Company

Abbotsford, BC, September 11th, 2018 - Gatekeeper Systems Inc. (“Gatekeeper” or the “Company”) (TSX.V: GSI; OTC: GKPRF; FSE: 1GK), a leading provider of high-definition video surveillance systems developed to protect people in transit, is pleased to announce it has received an initial order with Logan Bus Company (Logan Bus) for the supply and installation of high-definition video systems on 40 New York City (NYC) area school buses.

Logan Bus’s mission is to provide the best school bus transportation in the NYC area. They own more than 2,000 buses and 15-seater mini-wagons and have been providing transportation services for more than 30 years. Logan Bus is based in NYC and has multiple locations in Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Nassau County operating more than 2,000 buses and mini-wagons.

Logan Bus and Gatekeeper are members of the New York School Bus Contractors Association, an organization of nearly 100 school transportation service companies with the primary mission of promoting safe, reliable, and cost-effective student transportation in New York State. Private school bus companies employ approximately 45,000 people, operate roughly 30,000 school vehicles, and provide service to more than 300 school districts in New York State.

GATEKEEPER ANNOUNCES NEW FLYER CONTRACT FOR DELIVERY OF TRANSIT BUS VIDEO SYSTEMS FOR SEPTA

Gatekeeper Systems Inc. will supply high-definition video systems for 335 diesel-electric hybrid transit buses being manufactured for Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) by New Flyer of America Inc.

SEPTA has notified Gatekeeper that it has been chosen as a supplier of new high definition video systems after completing an in-depth technology evaluation. SEPTA has purchased 525 new hybrid buses from New Flyer over a five-year contract, with 335 buses remaining to be delivered. These remaining buses will now be equipped with Gatekeeper’s high definition video systems. Delivery, commissioning and installation of Gatekeeper’s high definition video systems will take place at New Flyer’s facility in St. Cloud, MN.

Q1 2019 Highlights

  • Company revenue for the three months ended November 30, 2018 was $1,839,478 which compares to $1,429,899 during the same period in the previous year: an increase of 29% and the highest fiscal Q1 revenue in the Company’s history;
  • Gross profit during the quarter was $911,286 which compares to $772,014 in the same period in the previous year;
