Overview for the quarter ended September 30, 2015
Net income for the three‐month period ended September 30, 2015 was $1.1 million compared to a
net income of $0.1 million for the same period a year earlier. With these successive profitable
quarterly results over the last two and a half years and the successful restructuring of its debt, the
Company is anticipating continued growth and expansion for the next twelve months and beyond.
Revenue during the quarter ended September 30, 2015 increased by 69% to $8.0 million, the
Company’s highest quarterly revenue in five years. The Company continued to improve and
expand its data services product offering to consolidate its position as the email communication
channel of choice for healthcare companies to reach professionals through web and mobile
technology. Correspondingly, gross margin increased by 97% to $4.6 million from $2.3 million for the
quarter ended September 30, 2014. Operating expenses excluding depreciation and amortization
were $2.6 million for the three‐month period ended September 30, 2015 compared to $1.4 million
for the same period ended September 30, 2014. As a result, the Company’s operating income for the
quarters ended September 30, 2015 was $1.6 million, an improvement of $1.0 million over the same
quarter a year earlier.
Outlook
With the finalization of the debt settlement with its Canadian lenders realized at the end of June
2015 which generated a gain of $3.1 million, the full repayment of the demand loan of
US$ 1.0 million contracted in 2013, the shares for debt transaction in the amount $361, an unused
multi‐million dollar line of credit and the continued growth in revenue, the Company is in a much
stronger financial position to focus its energy towards improving and expanding its data services
product offering and email database and deployment services. Given that the sales cycle to
engage major manufacturers takes upwards of 18 months, we expect that the gains and efforts
made over the past two years will carry over into 2016 and the following years.
